Erwin Schrodinger (1926)

Schrodinger won a nobel prize for physics in 1933 for developing the Schrodinger equation.

this equation represents “the wave equation of non relativistic quantum mechanics”

basically Schrodinger through math showed that waves can be used to describe electrons in atoms

He built off of the Bohr model and his theories combined with Heisenberg’s formed:

The Cloud Model

The Quantum Model which is the modern theory.
